Ms Nosi Mzamo holds B.Sc. Honours Geology, Graduate Diploma in Mining Engineering and Masters of Business Administration. She holds several management certificates with various business schools. Nosi has worked as a Geologist for several mining houses in South Africa and has over 23 years of experience as a Registered Professional Scientist and Management professional. 

She is a member of the Geological Society of South Africa. She has been recognised as a Fellow member of the Society. She started her career as a Junior Geologist in the Mining Industry and climbed the career and later joined Mintek in May 2010 where she has held several positions for over 13 years. Ms Mzamo has joined the State Diamond Trader as its Chief Executive Officer since October 2023. 

Nosi holds several Board membership roles in the mining industry. Nosi has been recognized as a Finalist of Standard Bank Top Woman – Female Public Sector Leader Award Category in 2017. In August 2019, Nosi has been recognized by the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy as Top Woman Achiever.
